Michael Guirguis, DDS
Dr. Michael Guirguis was raised in Ireland and England, before his family relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. Growing up with a dentist uncle and physician parents, a medical career was always in the back of his mind. “I started college majoring in finance,” he said. “But the thought of a life behind a desk with little human contact changed my mind.” The influence of his uncle and parents showed him that through medicine, he could impact lives.
Dr. Guirguis went on to complete his undergraduate studies at Miami University of Oxford, Ohio and dental school at The Ohio State University. Then as they say, he wasn’t born in Texas but got here as quickly as he could, continuing his education with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Baylor College of Dentistry.
Before joining his brother, Dr. James Guirguis, and Dr. Brent Fleming at Richardson Dentistry, he was in private practice for several years in the Dallas area. He found the existing philosophy at Richardson Dentistry dovetailed perfectly with his own. “No patient is just a chart, a set of teeth, or ‘the next patient’ to us. We also share a passion for continuing education.”
Dr. Guirguis is constantly seeking to provide his patients with the highest level of care. He is dedicated to continuing his postgraduate education, focusing on restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.
